Laundry is folded and put away (well, half of it at least–let’s see if the other half makes it or sits in the basket for the week). House somewhat reset for the week. And I even managed a few posts for the upcoming release of my new book: The Shady Oaks Division. I love, love, love, Jill and Jackson. Just as much as Ben and Alice. I’m excited for others to get to know them and read about what life is like in the “division”. What does retirement look like for a skilled government “asset”? Will they be able to keep her out of trouble? Such a fun character.
I’m also 19 chapters into my third book, which is also very exciting. While it’s not the sequel to And Then Ben (which I promise is still in the works), it’s a story that was itching to come out. Once again, deviating from the genres of my first two books, this one is leaning into suspense/women’s fic. And I’m not entirely sure whether or not one of the characters is bad or good. Which is also exciting. I can’t wait to see where the story ends up.
And now it’s well after 11 p.m. on a Sunday and I need to stop messing around with the website and other socials and just log off and head up to bed. But like most nights, the comfy couch makes it hard to move. Ugh, why haven’t they invented a teleporting device yet?
